Alternative Provision by Bouncing Statistics
A different route back into learning.
Specialist Alternative Provision in Walsall for young people who need a different environment, a stronger relationship and a clearer pathway forward.
What Eden House is
A specialist Alternative Provision setting for young people struggling to access or engage with mainstream education.
Who it supports
Pupils facing barriers relating to behaviour, attendance, SEND, SEMH, exclusion or individual circumstances.
What makes it different
A relationship-led environment built around the Bridge Curriculum — a pathway, not just a placement.
The Eden House difference
Education starts with understanding.
Young people can disengage from education for many different reasons. Behaviour may communicate an unmet need. Attendance may reflect barriers that cannot be solved through attendance messaging alone.
SEND and SEMH needs can affect a young person’s ability to engage with conventional environments. Eden House does not begin by asking what is wrong with a young person — it begins by understanding the young person.
From there, we build structure, trust, routine, learning and progress.
Who we support

Placement Pathways
Four pathways, one clear model.
Each pathway is a structured route — not a product. The right pathway depends on the young person’s needs, starting point and intended destination.
Success means being
better positioned for the
next stage.
A placement is not an end in itself. The purpose is progression — towards reintegration, further education, training, employment or greater independence.

For schools & professionals
A placement should create a pathway forward.
A direct route for school leaders, SENCOs, DSLs, local authorities, SEND professionals and commissioners.
For parents & carers
You know your young person best.
We work in partnership with families throughout the placement — because understanding at home matters as much as understanding in the room.
